How do I speak to a registered Portfolio Manager about my investments?

You may have questions or need advice from someone both qualified and licensed to provide it.

We invite you to first reach out to our support team - who may be able to help you answer your question. In some cases, we may opt to have you speak with one of our registered portfolio managers.

The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) requires any discussion constituting personal advice or financial guidance to be held between you and a registered portfolio manager.


Why can other firms/apps offer this type of guidance directly?

Simply: other firms may hold different types of registrations with different regulatory bodies.

This means that in some cases, they may be able to offer certain types of advice without needing to connect you with a registered individual.
